The reversible soil compactors CR 7 and CR 8 are the result of the consistent research and development work Weber MT has accomplished in conjunction with well-known industrial designers. The design concept and product quality ensure a long service life and enhanced operational safety. All soil compactors are successfully subjected to extensive test runs under realistic, everyday job site conditions. The CR 7 and CR 8 set new standards – follow Weber MT’s philosophy of developing and manufacturing cost-effective machines. The centrifugal forces of 74 kN for the CR 8 and 60 kN for the CR 7 furnish proof of each machines’ excellent performance capabilities. An electric starter, optimum operating qualities, supreme compaction output and low hand-arm-vibrations at the guide bar are additional features provided for enhanced operator’s comfort and machine’s productivity. Extension plates allow the working width to be increased. The models CR 7 CCD, CR 8 CCD and CR 8 Hd CCD are equipped with the new COMPATROL® compaction control system.

With its centrifugal force of 20 kN (4500 Lbs.) and a working width of 500 mm (20“), the CF 4 is ideally suited to the compaction of sand, gravel, no-slump concrete, small-grained crushed aggregates and insulating materials. Optional extras are available for use on the CF 4 to expand the range of operational applications. Adding a water sprinkler system and a polyurethene pad the CF 4 becomes the perfect compaction unit for asphalt and footpath slabs. As with all the machines of the new Webermt generation, the CF 4 vibratory plates feature the distinguishing characteristics of smooth running and stable vibration. The CF4 is available with a choice of either gasoline or diesel engines.

The CR 6 is distinguished by superior performance: an impact power of 50 kN, an operating weight of 412 kg and a flexible working width. Thanks to the different possible working widths, the CR 6 is for instance also ideal for compaction of block pavements (70 cm) and without the extension plates (45 cm) for compaction in trenches. The commitment to quality has also been designed into details: self-cleaning baseplate, closed V-belt guard, self-adjusting centrifugal clutch and a sturdy protection frame (top closed) are characteristics that indicate optimum operational safety. The soil compactor CR 6 CCD is equipped with the new COMPATROL® compaction control system. One of the advantages of this Weber MT-innovation: the system performs a uniform check of the suitability for compaction of the soil to be compacted. Thus, weak points can be detected and eliminated immediately.
